The Bachelor in Science degree prepares exceptional education teachers to work in programs serving K-12 students with exceptionalities. Our graduates are eligible to apply for a professional Florida Teacher Certificate in the area of Exceptional Education. Incredible Career Opportunities There is an increasing demand for special educators across the nation. In every state, the demand for qualified exceptional educators exceeds the available supply. Education Common Program Prerequisites - required for admissions Admission Requirements - Complete the University General Education Requirements or its equivalent, i.e., an A.A. degree from an approved Florida community college or state university.
- Have a minimum 2.5 overall GPA.
- Pass all four parts of the General Knowledge Test and/or CLAST examination (no alternative or waivers are accepted).
- Complete common program prerequisite courses.
