The Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education enables students to take a variety of courses related to young children, their learning, and development. Students also participate in a series of field experiences in which they have the opportunity to gain practical experience working with young children. This degree is intended to lead to initial teacher certification (PK-3) and prepares students for careers in the public schools, preschools, Head Start Programs, and private schools.
